In May of 2010 “Please Be Seated” was sited in a rural setting in Colorado as a private commission. The sculptural concept for “Please Be Seated” was developed from a found object, an old concrete laundry tub. The sculpture was fabricated from sandblasted untreated steel and was designed to blend into the natural environment over time. It was sited to combine a sense of privacy with an expansive view of the Rocky Mountains.
